Local Lake Arrowhead area Organization, Green Team Arrowhead (GTA) is pleased to announce its second annual Earth Day Celebration in Lake Arrowhead, California, Saturday, April 24 2010. Organizations, businesses, and residents of the local mountain communities are gearing up to celebrate this fantastic event. Even though the actual Earth Day is April 22, the observance has extended into a week-long “nationwide celebration on behalf of the environment.” By celebrating Earth Day on the mountain, Green Team Arrowhead hopes to shine a light on this worthy cause.
It’s not too late to contribute to the event, you can still become a member of green team arrowhead, be a vendor, volunteer, or Donate Raffle prizes.

Lake Arrowhead Area residents and visitors alike will be able to worship at sunrise services in Beautiful Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa beach Easter morning. This wonderful event has become a Lake Arrowhead local tradition. Guests will enjoy music Featuring Steve Smith and the Sunrise Band. This local favorite event is sponsored by 11 mountain churches including, Church of the Woods, Saint Ann Catholic Church, Church on the Mountain, Saint Richard’s Episcopal, Calvary Chapel of Lake Arrowhead, Rim of the World Community. Lake Arrowhead Presbyterian, Twin Peaks Community Church, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and bring chairs or blankets on which to sit on. If the weather turns inclement (mountain weather can be un-predictable this time if year) the service will be held indoors the Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa.
~Event takes place Sunday April 4, 2010 and begins at 6:15am.~

Friends of the Crestline Library bring you, “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” & Egg Candy Hunt! Sat. April 3rd from 8 am-11am San Moritz Lodge, Lake Gregory California.
Lake Gregory is a wonderful location for this Easter event and sooo close! Located only 15 minuets away from Lake Arrowhead and 20 minuets from the San Bernardino Valley. The Lake offers a multitude of activities including trout fishing, cat fishing, shore fishing, float tube fishing, swimming and water slides, aqua cycle rental, paddle board rental, sail boat rental, rowboat rental, basketball rental, and volleyball and Hiking trails.
The “Breakfast with Bunny” & Egg Candy Hunt will include a pancake breakfast, activities for the children and a free picture with the Easter Bunny. Tickets: $7 Adult, $5 under 10 years, or $20 for a Family of four.You may purchase your tickets ahead of time at the Crestline Library (Tickets are available at the door for a slightly higher price). After the Pancake Breakfast, there will be a “Duck Walk” to lead the children from the San Moritz Lodge to the South Beach for the next event…
Gregory Mc Duck will be the entertaining leader of this walk playing the bagpipes! The children will be wearing a duck face that they made at the Breakfast & join the leader for the soon to be famous “Gregory Mc Duck, Duck Walk Dance” The Parade of Ducks will start at 11am. Upon reaching the South Beach, the children will participate in the Egg & Candy Hunt (sponsored by the Mountain Communities Boys & Girls Club). There is no charge for this event.
The Fun doesn’t end there! Join everyone for the 2nd Annual Lake Gregory Rubber Duck Derby begins Saturday April 3, at 12:30pm. You may adopt a Rubber Ducky today $3 for 1 duck or $10 for 4 ducks. 1st place wins $500 2nd place wins $250 & 3rd place wins $100. Plus much more! The Lake Arrowhead Repertory Art Theater Company will be hosting Cabin Fever “Festival of the Arts” An evening of short plays, poems, music, stories, song & dance! This wonderful Event will be held at the Lake Gregory Cultural & Performing Arts Center, Located at 23955 Lake Dr. Crestline California. Crestline is an easy to reach mountain paradise and is home of Beautiful Lake Gregory.
- Performances take place March 26 thru 28 and April 1 thru 3 Evenings 7pm & matinees 2pm. Tickets: $15; students & seniors $12.
The Lake Arrowhead Repertory Art Theater Company is a great organization made up of Lake Arrowhead Area Locals.
